IRIS Standard
and Luxury size walk in baths
The IRIS walk
in bath is available in three sizes.
- 1600mm
long x 700/800mm wide
- 1700mm long x
700/800mm wide (which is a typical standard bath size)
and the large
- 1800mm
long x 750/850mm wide which
puts it in the range of luxury sized baths offering more generous internal space.
Q. Why is the
width stated a two dimensions?
A. The bath is
actually 100mm wider in the middle than it
is at either end. The second width dimension
reflects this.
Specification - Choose your IRIS bath
exactly how you want it
The IRIS bath may be
customised exactly how you want it.
For
example, you may specify the type of waste
outlet, the type of bath filler
or mixer valve. The bath may be handed left
or right. You may wish to build the bath into
a structure,
install to an alcove, or into a corner - you
can choose your panels accordingly.
A folding shower screen
may be added to create a
shower enclosure. Hydro massage and air spa
options with remote control conclude the
options list - just choose your level of
specification. A removable seat/head rest
and mechanically locking door are standard
features on the basic bath. (see below for
more information on handing and options) |

Handing your IRIS walk in bath
|
|
The handing may be determined in a
number of ways. It is essentially
based on which side the door is when
you are seated in the bath. If the
door is to your left then the bath
is designated a 'left hand' model.
To your right... yes of course, that
is a right hand model. |

SAFETY
As
with all walk in baths we strongly
recommend the use of
Thermostatically controlled taps or
a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) on
the hot water inlet of this bath to
prevent scalding. If you require

IRIS COMBY walk in bath with
shower
|
|
The
IRIS walk in bath is
available with a hinged
shower screen to compliment
the glass entry door. This
optional extra adds a shower
enclosure function to your
bath. There are two versions
-
IRIS COMBY
and
IRIS COMBY 2
Essentially, the difference
is which end of the bath you
choose to place into the
corner. If you wish the
shower end (door end) of the
bath to be in a corner then
choose the IRIS COMBY. If
however you would like to
place your back in the
corner when bathing and have
your shower and door at the
'open' end choose the COMBY
2 which incorporates a glass
end panel.
